I'm testing out 2 travel mug containers for keeping tea hot and taking a day trip. A Yeti and a Firebelly travel mug. The problem I'm facing is that they stay "burn everything in your mouth" hot for way too long.So I'm thinking I need a way to have the water less hot to begin with. Maybe I need to get an electric kettle with a wide range of temps.

@PhilGastwirth I think you're seeking a high tech solution when something low-tch can do.Maybe brewing up a little earlier and letting the kettle cool a while may provide an optimum temperature?Feel free to tell me to sod off if I've got this wrong

@PhilGastwirth yeah my problem is mostly now I don't have a kettle. I boil water and or use hot water from keurig and in a regular mug I just let it cool a little to drink. But I want to be able to have tea in a travel container and those containers are currently too good and keep the temp at an unbearable level.
