       I want your advice.I am creating a fediverse server (grove)registrations can be turned off and on. When they are of, and someone visits the registration page, what http status code should I throw?  I am in favor of 403, but what are your opinions?(reposting would be awesome)

       @kura I'd say 403, but with a deactivated registration page including at least a mention that registrations are disabled.

       @kura In that case, I have no idea. 503 seems wrong, as it is not a server issue per se, but on the other hand, it may be appropriate.
