       @7billionrising  I feel for you, brother.  I'm in Austin, too, but have never been in the dating scene here.  I can only imagine the landmines you have to dodge if you're afflicted with the dual curses of critical thinking and honesty.  It's tough enough just striking up small talk in the dog park or grocery store without setting some lunatic off on a pre-programmed progressive rant.

       @squeakyfrog I been in Austin since 2002 so I’ve had the time of my life for a while here, it really started going down hill fast for me around 2020 with the Covid BS and the fact I entered my mid 40s. I’m single by choice so no biggie, but yeah dating in atx is fried now
