@lowqualityfacts Here's a higher-quality banana fact: 100 nanosieverts of ionizing radiation is referred to as one banana unit because that's the approximate received dose of radiation from eating a banana. That's slightly more than the annual dose you receive from living within 50 miles of a nuclear power plant, and 1/3 of the dose from living within 50 miles of a coal power plant.Source: https://xkcd.com/radiation/

@lowqualityfacts You joke, but this was an actual issue for me at one point. Messed up body chemistry meant excessive potassium could make me faint.Had to avoid bananas and potatoes in particular.

@lowqualityfacts You are right. A friend had such high potassium levels he couldn't eat bananas.

@lowqualityfacts not to /srs on a joke post, but I actually do avoid eating multiple of the same fruit in a day and I have no idea why.

@lowqualityfacts ". . . . presenting to the emergency room with hyperkalemia. Hyper-, for high; -kal-, for California; and -emia, for presence in blood"

@lowqualityfacts I actually got something like that as part of "lower your potassium" earlier this year, until a few weeks later they decided "okay now it's too low, raise it". (Raisins are nice.)
