I helped pull 200 lbs of goatheads (puncture vines) with Boise City Parks this morning, though it feels futile when attacking a thick patch like the one we pulled. Hopefully we've at least saved a few bike tires and dog paws from those nasty spiky nutlets. And, it apparently earned me an entry for prizes at the #BoiseGoatheadFestival. Maybe I will actually go this year!
