Hey, #apple folks, what's the best app for taking handwritten notes into text? This is the first #iOS device I've had in a decade. Has to be an established app because it's an upcycled device and I'll need to use older versions.

@NikaShilobod Depending on the version (Iām not sure whe they brought it in) just plain old Notes is pretty good.

@johnIt's ios 12. Worth a shot. :) Only one app I wanted didn't have backward compatibility... I found a work around to force installation on old devices. Planned obsolescence is why I normally stay away from Apple but the thing I was going to use this for fell through, so I'll just use it. š¤

@NikaShilobod To be fair to the multi-billion dollar corporation, app compatibility is decided by the app makers, not Apple š.

@johnNah, it won't let you do backwards compatibility unless you have already added those apps to your account. I had to find an old version of iTunes that would let me do it on a forum. It's not just an app maker decision.

@johnThey removed the app store from new versions of iTunes so you couldn't work around it. It's very shady.
