       @KarenKasparArt This inspires me to an idea.We've got some leaf-print paintings on the wall which my wife did.I like experimenting with watercolor, but I struggle with realism in the parts I'm trying to make real - my fumbling skills seem to bend toward abstract, if you know what I mean.Going to try a leaf-et-al-print in oil-pastel (or acrylic), along with WC around & butting into it.Could be fun.        @kelvin0mql I recommend acrylic paint to print with the leaves. Then let the watercolor flow around it. Have fun!

       @KarenKasparArt Yeah, I'd suspect that'd work better. I don't know if my wife has any acrylics stashed around here. If not, I'll play a bit what what I do have on hand.I've had good luck with using Oil Pastel to "resist" WC. So curious to see if I can apply OP to back of a leaf, then successfully transfer to WC paper. Strong doubts, but when I get a hairbrained idea bouncing around up there, sometimes I just gotta give it a go or I won't sleep.
