       Moving to a new instance, so I suppose it’s time for a new #introduction. I’m a (not-computer) engineer from the east coast US, and I love history, FOSS, nautical fiction, low budget movies, and the occasional cocktail (and I can always find an occasion). Jumping to #Universeodon from a large but more specialized instance so I don’t feel like I’ll be annoying people for posting about whatever pops into my head unrelated to that specialty. Have been on #Mastodon for a good while, and seem to jump off and on the wagon. Hopefully reading and posting here is a better habit than Reddit has become for me.Looking forward to yelling at clouds! Send me your drink recipes and pictures of ships!
