       @matthannon absolutely. Great app. Tip: only download relevant region packs and allow location data so app know where you are (gives more accurate results).

       @matthannon the offline identification really is a game changer. I've learnt to identify more birds more securely in the last two months than I managed in my entire life beforehand - even using bird net. It's the real-time "listen, guess, compare, adjust" loop which really promotes listening for identifiable features which are memorable!

       @brrbrr yes I started to go back and listen to positive IDs.Then, as I sat in my garden 10 mins later, I could pick out specific birds.This is where AI really does add value for me and hopefully the environment.

       @matthannon Ah sounds like a great app - thanks for sharing! Definitely getting it. We have a real mix: parakeet during the day and various owls at night. Would be easier to identify with the app.
