       Support for more than four media attachments is getting too complicated to maintain, so it's being removed.It was originally enabled because Fediverse users on some non-Mastodon servers can use more than four attachments.Pleroma users in particular like to make fun of Mastodon for its arbitrary limitations.In practice, you rarely ever see people use the feature. The vast majority of Fediverse users are on Mastodon servers, and they can't see more than four attachments anyway.

       @lamp you're welcome to submit and maintain a new patch for it. they switched to a CSS gridbox layout, so our previous code stopped working.
