Finally! I finally have a device that is the perfectly realized result of something we were trying to implement when I worked at AMD's Radeon Technologies Group in 2016/2017. A premium AMD + AMD laptop that surprisingly hits ALL the sweet spots. Ryzen 9 5980HX + Radeon 6800M with 12GB of VRAM. Smart Shift technology. 1440p, 165Hz display with 3ms response time and FreeSync. Excellent cooling system. And NO webcam 💯 This is the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition. And I love it.

@killyourfm That is a really sweet laptop. I still have my DevOne for work and man it’s so good even a year later. AMD has been killing it.

@killyourfm looking at it a few things do drive me batty. Would it kill ANY company to put a proper keyboard on a laptop....like...lose the multimedia keys and at least let me have a full set of normal keys in the right spots (proper sized) so I don't have to carry a keyboard with my laptop to type faster than 10wpm. I'm sick of having to carry a million accessories in my laptop bag to make a laptop useful.

@killyourfm .. does that have hybrid mode to switch between iGPU and dGPU? Mux? Might try yours next year, but this year I am looking for a 13/14” for travel with reasonable all AMD iGPU+dGPU. Looking at the ROG zephyr g14 possibly.
