       i don't get when people are surprised that the brony art+music scene is so incredible.like, yeah, the community founded on radical and sincere expression of your passions especially when society thinks it looks cringe is going to excel at art - the very nature of which calls for the ability to do something vulnerable even if you feel like it's cringe

       the antithesis of "im cringe and i'm free" is "i aggressively regulate my self-expression for fear of being judged as too vulnerable by society, and as a result my very existence is limited"be cringe.  do things people will judge you for.  let yourself be vulnerable even if it means giving people a chance to make fun of you.you'll find people who will be cringe with you and the community you form will liberate you to create transcendental art
