       I didn’t think anybody who could even spell “fediverse” should need this spelled out, but if you’re off to a riot, leave your phone at home. For at least ten years every western nation has been flying drones over riots and protests with stingray cells, and surveillance gear so good half the footage of, say, an explosion at a fun-run in Massachusetts needs to be kept secret. This French bullshit is a distraction, our guys are just as bad, and a photo of your pocket lint isn’t a lot.
