@vriska I really hate how Court is the one album everyone says to listen to, but In The Wake of Poseidon is basically that album but better. It's a much more pleasant listen, it doesn't have as many interludes that interrupt the flow of the songs and has some really sparkly and pretty parts.Also this live version of Pictures of a City is one of my favourite songs, period.

@nyx yeah, so, heres the thing, Metallica actually had to give Guitar Hero the masters to make the Guitar Hero Metallica game, and they released Death Magnetic that way, but hte version they gave to guitar hero did not have any dynamic range compression and was completely immune to the loudness wars, and it was INCREDIBLE

@nyx @vriska i feel like they reacted to the st anger production complaints and went too hard in the opposite direction. i honestly loved the production on st anger (even the infamous snare) but the songs were mostly trash. death magnetic on the other hand has pretty good songs but was produced like fucking foo fighters.
