       I was willing to be fairly charitable in interpreting Musk's decision making when it came to twitter, but this "pay per view thing" I have no words for. This makes the top 10 list of stupidest things that any tech company has ever done.Not that I'm mad about it. This is going to kill off a lot of obnoxious old guard personalities that won't be able to get a foothold a second time.

       @RustyCrab I think he's desparate for revenue and is throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. Makes me wonder how many other big companies like Facebook and Google are dependent on continued investment to keep the lights on

       @Doc_Wolverine it's all smoke and mirrors. Twitter has lost the blessings of the Alphabet People and therefore the government. That was probably the majority of their income. I don't know what the fuck reddit is doing.

       @Doc_Wolverine 95% of millennials have no chance of ever owning any meaningful wealth so I can't imagine most of them are even investing. Possible exceptions for 401k because it's basically part of the citizenship pipeline

       @inertia you must have never even really viewed twitter then. The way scrolling works on that site you can easily clear 30 tweets in a single minute.
