       I’ve lived all over central #Oslo and now I live in the #East side of town, I rarely visit the #West side of town. But when I do… it’s different. 🥹Very different. 😅

       @forteller The west is… Cleaner, Quieter, Wealthier. You can see it in the buildings, the people, the general vibe. It’s very “showy”. Influencers paradise. The people in the east are more gritty and real. There’s more foreigners and PoC. There’s more tension in the air, and less money on show. The streets are dirtier and the buildings less fancy or well kept. Do you see it?

       @matt Yes! It annoys me to no end that the public infrastructure seems more carefully made, and better maintained on the west side. It's fixed now, but for a very long time the street Grønland was a big pond for most of the autumn, the water did not get drained properly. Even though it's probably one of the most used streets in the city.

       @syklemil @forteller I lived precisely there one year it did that - a few floors above the Stockfleths. Our basement had a grid in it like the one in your video - it threw itself up in the air and our basement flooded pretty badly. So much stuff ruined.
