       I honestly don't know how I feel about the threads stuff. On one hand, I think it would be nice to tell my friends and family to follow me on mastodon. On the other hand, I left Facebook to get away from deeply personal ties with my social media.I got tired of people approaching me offline bringing up issues they have with my opinions.I'm starting to think I'll need two Mastodon accounts, one anonymous and one with my real name. Can anyone else relate?

       @selea Glad I'm not the only one. I really got tired of hearing "all you do is post nerd stuff that I don't understand" as if I'm supposed to be entertaining for my friends/family.Really not looking forward to going back to that.

       @selea @3sframe That's the way to go :) I love reading all the weirdo posts over here (I include mine here) the nice thing about mastodon is that I can see all the fun different things people are interested in, and get interested in things that I would never really have thought about before :)
