@ainmosni I always felt like that as well but because many people "vocal" in tech (journalists, etc) are married to Apple's ecosystem and narrative, they listend a lot to one of Apple's High Priests

@tante My introduction to his bad takes was when he reviewed the 2016 MBP and didn’t have a lot to say about its all-time bad keyboard but did mention that it had “premium ” keycaps. I think the badness has accelerated as he’s collaborated more with Ben Thompson, who’s even more in the tank. The latter’s “the real free riders are Amazon Prime non-subscribers” is an all-time laugher
