       Kind reminder:- Please use 'content warning' for nudity / erotism or disturbing content (gore / abuse / violence / racism, etc.)- As a rule of thumb, would you print out that picture and shove it under your neighbour's nose? No? Then, it probably deserves its content warning.- Mastodon wants to be safe place. We have a lot of people here who have had enough abuse in their lives and don't want to see more.So, yeah, this is not the HOA, this is just being respectful of other users.

The content warning bar is so we CAN post what we need (minus actual abusive speech or images) while allowing people to opt into seeing it or not.Content warnings are a way to KEEP our maximum freedom going BOTH ways- freedom to talk about it but freedom to avoid it too.
