@jerry And the site just renders a blank page for me - at least with Firefox & uBlock Origin. And holy cow, what a bunch of junk in the source for that "blank" page.#AnyBrowser #chrome #adblock #ublock #threads #firefox

@cazabon I am not sure there is a web interface - just a mobile app

@jerry @cazabon Correct. No web interface, other than a preview of a profile (that's better than the Birdsite): https://www.threads.net/@compuguy

@compuguy @jerry @cazabon I'm still getting a blank page on the homepage and just a logo on that profile like you sent. If I open the browser console, I see a ton of CORS violation errors.. 🤷 Why do we even bother?

@stevenroose @jerry @cazabon Huh, looks like Threads doesn't work in Firefox. Getting the same CORS errors you were getting.....😬

@cazabon @stevenroose @jerry Honestly? Because they were rushing to put out a MVP, and Firefox sadly has a small user base…🤷♂️

@compuguy @cazabon @jerry Small user base? Isn't it the 2nd or 3rd browser? That means tens or hundreds of millions of users, no?

@stevenroose @compuguy @jerry Firefox is <5% share in most stats. It's 2.8% in this:https://gs.statcounter.com/browser-market-shareIt's practically a rounding error. #Chrome is generally all people test with (or perhaps other #Blink-based browsers like #Brave, #Opera, #Vivaldi, etc) and so lots of #developers end up creating #sites that work in Chrome (because of lax security policies, or using nonstandard features) that break in #Firefox.#Firefox is my main, but I keep Vivaldi around for these types of things.
