       i love how twit-brained ppl will be like "mastodon does not provide what users actually need that's why nobody goes there" and completely ignore the dynamics of marketing and clout chasing that lead people to enthusiastically chase invites to Blue Sky when there's literally 100k users there at mostyes, it's definitely *just* the UX that prevents people from falling in love with Mastodon, and not the fact that y'all are obsessed with fucking celebrities and status
