       All three of our dogs, now deceased, were terrified of thunder and fireworks. All three were rescued from a shelter. I miss them dearly. 🐾 It's weird living in a dogless house, but I still empathize with the other dogs and owners who go through it.

       @TomWellborn mine stopped being afraid once she lost her hearing 🤷‍♀️ She is gone now and I still hate them on her behalf.

       @edgeoforever @TomWellborn I tried to get the evening walk in before sunset, but the barrage started before dark and both dogs wanted to go home at once. My girl is under the desk now and my neighborhood sounds like WWII. Fireworks are nominally illegal inside city limits but the cops won't enforce it.😡
