I can't say it enough... #podverse is a damn good product. The cats continue to make improvements. I love the "Search Podcasts" feature and have a great web version and device sync. I'm trying #Fountain, but perhaps it's recency bias, but I'm not much into the UI. So, once my trial of Podverse Premium ends, I don't see any reason to not stick with it š Oh, and the ability to create and share clips on the fly is spectacular. #ITM

@mysticgeek I also have found Fountain to be nearly unusable. I've been using PodcastGuru and it's 100 better, might try yours though - searching transcript from the app would be nice, is that what you're talking about with search?

@mysticgeek hey, I'm a paying customer, but can't use it as my main app just yet on Android. It crashes sometimes and I never know what's going to play next, if anything.Witch platform are you using it on?

@petre @mysticgeek sorry for the trouble :( are you using the latest version 4.13.0? Weāve reduced our crashes on Android by about 80% this year, but trying to get to 100%. Also, what OS are you using? Android 13 or GrapheneOS or something else?

@petre thatās encouraging to hear, although that bug sounds pretty bad.Iāve never heard microg-kebab. Is that a FOSS distribution of Android? It seems like our biggest remaining issues are with FOSS OSāsā¦

@podverse it's Lineage OS with microg for OnePlus 8T. Since I have your attention, I will mention a couple paper cuts that really bother me: 1. The queue is not easy to access, a link in bottom bar would be perfect for me. And it's not easy to manage, swipe to add/remove would be nice, bu it's very important to always know where the currently playing item is in the queue....

@petre thanks this is very helpful.1) making the queue one-click accessible is a challenge since we have so many featuresā¦we could allow you to customize which tabs appear in the bottom navigation. Would that help? Also the queue is currently one-click accessible from the player screen, in the upper right corner.2) Iāve talked to @creonc and @suorcd about this quite a lot recently. There are big challenges with architecting a good solution for it tho and struggling with it tbh.
