Alexander Hamilton suggested that the Federal Govt be set up exactly like Britain's, except with the delegates in charge. Thomas Jefferson blocked him. Lincoln effectively made Hamilton's dream come true including Federal debt and later a central bank. Don't believe me? Look who is on our money: Lincoln and Hamilton. Jefferson is grudgingly relegated to a denomination we don't use.

@Krez @neanderthalsnavel Yes,And he ended the 2nd Central Bank Attempt, the 2nd National Bank of US.Putting him on the 20 is a huge FU, but I'd rather have him on it than switch to some unknown Diversity Nobody.
