@aris pretty much. Last I checked, Bluetooth wasn't powerful enough to reach China yet :blobcatgooglyshrug:Though even having to think about this is genuinely *painful*. :blobcatheadache:

@dside Wifi and Internet help though :) The official app requires log/pass and sending my data abroad, no thank you. Unfortunately openScale doesn't support that scale yet.

@aris ah-h, that's a shame. Maybe folks behind the project can provide guidance on how to support that model. It might need heck of a time investment and an existing working setup though (with login and everything).Here's hoping vendors won't be adding Wi-Fi to the scales themselves anytime soon.

@dside I'm almost done reading my weight from my laptop 😀 wish they didn't use bytetobit/substring/equalsignorecase("01x) to parse binary streams though
