@succucirno I heard their contract with google cloud or something expired on July 1st because they weren’t paying the bill, which seems more likely than the other popular theory that it has something to do with France.Or it really could just be the excessive data mining like they claim. Who knows.

@Adolfo_HODL If only Twitter had a way to share the burden with operators of other sites that interoperated with each other and cached tweets so people viewing them on those other social media sites didn't hit twitter's servers. Oh wait, that sounds familiar!LOL Fedi W.

@succucirno the problem is that Twitter has never really been viable. But there is a sweet spot where they can make it feel viable, even though it’s not because you are so heavily suppressed.But you think it is, so you keep refreshing the page for more dopamine hits.

@DrRyanSkelton @Adolfo_HODL When you are a monopoly in a high operating cost business like Twitter, it isn't sustainable. The more users you have, the more advertisements you can serve, sure. But that also means higher bandwidth costs.Not only that, but their machine-learning algos for moderation probably burn up more FLOPS than Twitter's core functionality itself.
