How would regulation make it any better? People who get VC backing become entirely depended on future VCs and debt. In the next dot-com bust, those VC/angels/incubators will get to choose which companies live and die; same way as the banks did in 2008 with the TARP bailouts.The real challenge is building a company and sustaining it with customers/funds and without initial debt. It's pretty difficult to do, because despite all our advances in technology, it still takes a lot of people to built shit. I guess you could use A.I. now if you want a bunch of shit that doesn't compile, doesn't work, or is written to use ancient versions of programming languages.Also I didn't know Peter Thiel wrote this book ... that guy is creepy as fuck.

They're all ridiculously brilliant: they know not to bother anyone, they even know how to tell when the traffic light is green or red and what that means, so they'll wait at intersections until the walk sign lights up. You know why they are that smart? The ones that weren't smart are dead, just like the ones that pissed people off.So I really don't care what the VCs are doing, it's the people that are responsible for making the VCs profitable that I am annoyed with.

@p @ChristiJunior @Hoss @admin @blockbot Yeah, that's what's happened to me the other day. Though there has been a ton of bot accounts getting on. I get at least 2-3 furry art bots following me every day. It's gotten so bad I can instantly recognize and block them now. As soon as you follow them, they dm you trying to sell you commissions.
