       I wish so much for everyone to stop with all the crap like Twitter, discord, reddit, etc. I'm willing to admit that it's convenient and easier to reach a lot of people, but it's all so unhealthy.And the worst part is that there are plenty of people who are looking for "alternatives", but don't want to hear about what already exists and working, like the fedi, xmpp or even matrix. But they always want to look for worse, because of a last trendy shit, as if they have an addiction to the corpo system or a real need to be abused.I wish I could help people change that. It just hurts me to see people and friends being grabbed by the throat by people who don't want them any good

       @Nesakko People need to get to that point all on their own. Otherwise they feel like being criticised for their choices – and instinctively dismiss suggestions. No one wants to feel stupid, the really stupid ones in particular.
