youtube videos come in two forms1) restricted by copyright, under a standard default license that lets google basically do whatever they want with it, and reap any benefit they feel like from the video, but gives the viewers limited rights to do anything with it other than consume it2) creative commons, which gives the viewer the right to copy it, remix it, share it, translate it to other languages, import it into places like https://invidious.poast.org , broadcast it on big screens in public, basically make it part of a living free culture https://lessig.org/product/free-culture/if people are given a choice between watching a video that restricts you from doing anything other than consuming it and which you can see prison time for trying to do more with it and one that you don't have to worry about going to prison for doing interesting things with it, you should expect them to do the latter.

@jeffcliff I understand what you are saying. But this is just a video game related video. it's not some piece of art worth dissecting, translating or publicly broadcasting. It's not a political commentary or a compilation of trump saying nigger. So even with such license I doubt people would do what you described lol. Since the guy is a literal nobody I assume that every minute watched matters to him on his channel. Making money off youtube is nearly impossible unless you are a cunt but you cant blame a guy for hoping.
