Macron is a fool if he believes the current riots in France are caused by 'video games' and parents not controlling their childrenInstead of shuffing the blame and turning France into a police state how about addressing the real problem and fight the racism in the police..I'm totally against the violence but somewhere I can understand them, enough is enough. @stux yeah, that's what I thought. They neglected real egality measures to people they recruited in their own country and treated like animals here. We've been having at least three riots in these areas since because they felt left over. And it's not like they feel they would be hear with regular strikes since one of the biggest social strike since may 68 against pension reform was neglected by the officials. @stux The wau the police are set up in France means they have no accountability and essentially are only beholden to themselves. Macron could look at fixing that, but he's both weak and an authoritarian at heart, so he just comes out with this nonsense instead.

@stux we did what seems like basically the same thing here in the US a few years agoThe police kept beating up protestors and demonizing them in the media until it stopped. A few steps were taken in the right direction, but but nothing really changed, except more funding for cops
