       Here's how I got started on #mastodon I hadn't had a twitter account for years, so I had no one in particular to look for, but mastodon seemed cool and I jumped in.I found a mastodon instance at joinmastodon.org that had interests listed similar to mine.I made an account and started looking through the local feed.I followed people who posted things I liked, and followed authors of posts that they shared.I posted things I thought were interesting or funny and people followed me for that.I now have a little social graph that posts just enough that I can read it all in a day. If it gets busier than that I unfollow some accounts.End of anecdote. It's not that complicated, it's just new.Now post pics of your animals and make new friends
