       Welcome to fleeing Twitter ppl ❤️If you’re looking for stable spots I will note that Bluesky is currently down/unstable, presumably as a cascading result of the exodus, and also it’s…pretty weird over there rn due to bizarre moderation choices. I’m not a “Bluesky Is the Devil” person but I wouldn’t recommend it just yet. Masto has some real problems, but if you get on a good server it still seems like the best lifeboat to me.

       @anderspuck They have so far resisted explicitly forbidding racist abuse, even though they explicitly forbid sexist and anti-trans abuse, and they’ve started banning suicidal users without warning after sending them weird emails about how nuanced they (mods) are being. It’s pretty strange—they seem committed to reinventing all the wheels of trust and safety one at a time and by needlessly hurting real people.
