       "we’re taking about the tech, not the people"The following line has been in my bios for years now: "Value people over code."It's weird making so much noise about people choosing to moderate for themselves and saying that it is anti-open, impossible due to tech, against the idea of federation, etc.If defederating was not technically feasible and not compatible with decentralized services, it probably wouldn't be a core part of all fediverse software.Like everything else against marginalized folks, these people think that us existing in our own space is wrong and needs to be stopped, while we aren't trying to stop them from existing how they want to, and just want to be left alone :bowie_sweat:
