       @PepperTheVixen@meow.social OK this is VERY important to me and I was ALWAYS afraid to ask because it felt rude but I'm gonna take a chance here.How much details are we talking? When is a lot of details needed?Usually I put little because not knowing how screen readers work I think "hell, poor homie is gonna get their computer spouting my bullshit alt text for an hour"And maybe some find it annoying.I know you don't talk for every blind person on the planet but as far as you know is there a general consensus on how long it should be?Also, I just generally really suck at writing alt text, would it be OK if I specified in the alt text that asking me questions about the picture is welcome and encouraged?
