In mathstodon.xyz we are not free to talk about "b1tc01n". It flags and deletes. This Nazi mentality is making me not being an active Mastodon user. From now on.I find no wrong talking about this subject and mathstodon.xyz disagrees. I cannot tolerate this sysadmin dictatorship posture.I am more inclined to quit Mastodon and use IRC and Usenet, than to look for another Mastodon instance. Such a quiet place it was....#censorship #dictatorship #mathstodon

@dani Really? I don’t see any mention of :btc: rules or restrictions, so surprised to hear this. 🤨

@matt See my reply here:https://mathstodon.xyz/@ColinTheMathmo/110637753030583795That explains more about what happened in this case. When posts get reported we look at them, assess them, and will usually contact the author. Then we act on each case separately. We can create rules, but people will always try to bend them, argue about them, misinterpret them, and so on, so we want to explain what we're doing and why, and thereby have a community.Maybe that won't work in the long run, but it's mostly working so far.
