@tek Still waiting to find out if it wasn't just a mistake..... But regardless, like you say, it makes it very clear that people (and institutions) should be looking - right now - for Twitter alternatives.

@jztusk It very well could be a temporary thing, but that seems like an awfully hard feature to accidentally turn on site-wide.If it *was* an accident, then that speaks volumes to the people still running the site.

@tekPerhaps Musk hasn't understood that we haven't signed up because we don't want to, rather than because we haven't got round to it. If the options are full-on Twitter or no Twitter at all then I've already made my choice.@jztusk

@tek @markusl Yeah, all of us here have made that choice. And I'm certainly not going back in any way.But I do want Twitter to be destroyed, not just no longer visited by me. So I'm hoping that this is an actual strategic decision my elmo, and that it is as successful as most of his other ones. :-)
