I've seen corporate moves from the outside in the past where I've thought "Oh man, that company is totally ruining that other company."Now I'm on the inside and seeing the banter about what #IBM may or may not be doing to #RedHat.Sure, I was super nervous as a Red Hat associate when IBM made the move originally, but I've received nothing but support from IBM since then.

For context, I'm responsible for the engineering side of the #RHEL on public cloud customer experience at #RedHat. The role involves working with associates across the company and big partners (cloud providers).Collaborating with people on the #IBM side of the house has been a delightful experience 99% of the time. I genuinely feel like they want Red Hat to be successful.

I have the freedom to work through problems from customers and partners as well as look forward to see where our customers need to be. I can come up with ideas along with my talented team and we have the support to execute on those ideas and build great customer outcomes. That's one of the main reasons why I love working here.#redhat

I've also never had a situation where I've heard:"IBM says we must do X""IBM says we can't do Y"I *have* heard many times "IBM has customers who want X from RHEL" or "we could build Y into RHEL to make it better for this IBM customer".But that's the point of acquiring a company, isn't it?
