@instereo256 kinda, it's more about some country providing nukes (most likely the US) that would be located in Poland, but there would be little US personnel except for some super specialized maintenance and some military police, the polish army would train to use them and it case things, uh, happen, US will just hand over the key to the bunker and be like, ok, here you go

@instereo256 it's a trick for countries like germany to have some (rather limited[1]) nuclear weapons while kinda sorta adhering to the treaty[1] it's very few bombs and it's almost certainly the "current" US "main" nuke, the B61, which can be configured in multiple ways, it's still manufactured as new actually, but even the maximum yield is low-ish, like, ten times hiroshima, but that's very much on the low side compared to megatons of the proper height of the cold war stuff
