       I need to figure out why pleroma running on apacheis generating ALL manner of weird errors which indicate for all intents and purposes, that me running my pleroma instance, and fav'ing things, boosting things, etc ....is generating logs via the 'ginx, in peertube.this makes absolutely zero sense to me.---even when not interacting with the federated peertube accounts, whatsoever.---WHY?someone. please, explain this to me, I'm at exploratory phase, but pissed and confused, and curious to get this fixed up properly.

       please and thank you, if you have any leads.the only commonality is they're both running on the same server, and i'm following the peertube account on the pleroma instance.

       @dcc it's to the point where it stalled federation for 2 days of new videos, and slowed uploads of videos.i had to turn talk here off,and reboot the machine,in the meantime.

       @dcc @p it stalled federation of new videos, and *that*is a problem.]it slowed video uploads to molasses, that *is* a problem.also, after about a week of leavin the instance up and going,my /tmp fills up, with some plug files.and wont' empty till i reboot.cron has written me about some stuff about oban taking a performance penalty, but hexdocs.pm are rather cryptic and im not certain whats going on there.

       @dcc @p well, i turned off talk here, and i can upload videos a lot faster.i gander it uses /tmp and it's running out of space because of whatever is going on with talk here.its multi pronged .but also i noticed blog photos upload slowly while talk here's been running a few days, and its always when /tmp is getting full.so it's definitely related in some way.

       @modpod @p well pleroma does use processing power(also peertube does transcodeing)....... As for tmp i still dont understand what you mean, are you saying there is files there? or folders? or what

       @dcc @p right now we're in bunker modeso looks normalbut if talk here is running for more than say, 36hours,/dev/sda5 9.1G 6.6G 2.1G 76% /var/dev/sda7 1.8G 124K 1.7G 1% /tmptmp becomes near full or 99%.anyway i've described the problem to the best of my ability without providing oban logs,but I can do that too if its useful.

       @modpod @dcc > upload videos a lot faster.Peertube spends all your CPU/disk on transcoding videos. I don't know why it works the way it does. Just renice it.> i gander it uses /tmp and it's running out of space because of whatever is going on with talk here.That will be a problem. /tmp's in a ramdisk or what?> but also i noticed blog photos upload slowly while talk here's been running a few days, and its always when /tmp is getting full.What makes you think it's got something to do with /tmp instead of just bandwidth saturation?

       @dcc @modpod I wouldn't run a Peertube instance on a shared anything.  Pleroma's featherweight by comparison.

       @modpod @dcc oban just uses Postgres, it doesn't use tmpfiles.If you're using media proxy and you're prewarming and it goes into /tmp, it's probably fetching every image/video/whatever and shoving that in /tmp just in case you want to look at it.

       @modpod @dcc > ls -lah`sudo du -acmx /tmp | sort -n` will tell you what's taking up the space. *Unless*:> NOTHING there.> visible or invisible. Sometimes a program makes a tmpfile, then opens it, and unlinks it: the OS doesn't free the space until there are no hard links to it *and* there are no open FDs referring to it. So it's a way to use disk but the OS will gc the file as soon as you forget about it.`sudo sh -c 'ls -l /proc/*/fd/*' | grep /tmp` will do something like what you want.
