@rustybrick 👀 – you can tell Google have lost focus on AMP. Now an afterthought. Done it's job for them – brought publishers into a line. Let's not pretend any more and just get rid of amp from the web as it is wasting energy resources. #seo

@simoncox I told my team to either add the AMP GA4 code or remove AMP completely from our sites. :) I don't care which one.

@simoncox @rustybrick Just get rid of it. No need for AMP, never was. Any well-optimized website was faster anyways.

@rustybrick @fili I just remembered one of my sites is amp only - no html. Built as an experiment - it tripped up Sitebulb when they introduced Amp testing as they were not expecting anyone not to have html pages! *sigh* good days.

@simoncox @fili just removed the amp pages, cache should clear within 24 hours and SER rankings will do a nose dive soon :P will be watching this one closely cc @johnmu
