Sure, it feels more like home than Windows, but that's because of the Unix-like nature of the OS. To be honest, I liked its appearance (but not really the changes on it from macOS 11 onwards). But it's too restrictive for my daily computing tasks.For me, using macOS makes a lot of sense when using it for audio-related work, as the hardware and software combination is much better than on Linux. You can imagine how much of a headache audio on Linux can be.

@nano I mean it doesn't allow to change stuff as you like. Which I don't like on my home computer. But macOS makes perfect sense as a workstation. It doesn't really get on your way, unlike Windows and you can do stuff quickly enough.

@nano I don't know. On Linux and *BSD you install the package for the UI stuff you want, you run that (or for a WM/DE you log out and login with that) and you're ready to go.On macOS you literally have to put your system's security in risk just to make yabai to fucking work, as well as other shit on the system. Or just substitute it with Amethyst if you want window tiling (shit's ok).
