@EU_Commission Plus none of the Anglosphere, particularly the good ole US of A, has disavowed torture. As far as we know it is still used by US of A intel services.

@EU_Commission It doesn't help that what used to be the most tireless advocate against torture got caught having a torture scandal of our own during the brutal invasion and occupation of Iraq.Now whenever we argue against torture, our protestations sound weak and meaningless.All because Darth Jar-Jar thought it made him look like a tough guy.

@EU_Commission What do you think about the forced use of emetics on prisoners and detainees. In some cases they can cause ruptures in the esophagus/trachea, bruises in the respiratory system, and even death.
