       @MagicLike@mstdn.social i know.windows nt stands for windows new trechnology. as its not using dos as its kernel. it introduced ntfs 1. and from it came windows xp etc

       @MagicLike@mstdn.social @jeder@miau.jeder.pl there are 2 or 3 ext2+ drivers, but you cant install windows on themand you more often then not they are "experimental", or read only.if you want a data exchange (or shared) partition, ntfs in linux is way more mature then ext on windows. or use fat, though that one doesnt support posix attributes (unlike ntfs actually).and if you are really adventurous, i think linux can actually boot from ntfs, unless they removed ntfs kernel support.

       @mh57@darmstadt.social @MagicLike@mstdn.social honestly, xp, 7, 8.1 and 10 are prettya good imo.not so thrilled about 11 though. but i switched to 100% linux during first third of windows 10 live time anyway, so i dont bother with it. :)
