Why is it that every time I make a full backup over Wifi, my skin starts to itch and my face appears to get hot.Am I paranoid or is 5 GHz Wifi actually microwaving my body?

@louis Just to simplify things, your microwave oven works close to 500 to 700 Watts of power.Your access point is close to 0.002 Watts.Electromagnetic radiation decays exponentially the further you are from the source, so if you push your face into the antenna, you could absorb 0.002 Watts, moving away you get less and less until background radiation from space and the sun are way more of a factor than your router at full blast.

@cthulhu @louis I didn't watch this... But 5G refers to fifth generation of mobile network technology. This is very different from 5GHz (frequency) used by WiFi.As someone stated earlier, the power output by WiFi is so low that you shouldn't be able to feel it.

@burnthekernel @louis I know. Got an Mphil in Engineering Physics π5G is multi band, including frequencies in the microwave region. The video is just a general overview. π
