@icedquinn no, you need to stop blaming rich people for you being poor. the number of social programs that exist in the usa is dumbfounding. they are all slowly failing because the public sector failure fuckbags want a monopoly on good will and charity. being petty is all they can do with the waning influence they have.

WIC, Disability, EBT, Job placement services ... I know people who get things like disability and it might not be much, but it helps.I also had a friend who survived cancer and refused to take $80/yr in disability because he knew he'd be a slave to the state and would rather go back to work ... :blobcatshrug:

@djsumdog i wouldn't say given, but they certainly had a significantly easier time to earn. like i mentioned with spoils of war they got a lot of bonuses from the USA's position in those at the time.millenials still have to put up with infinite warfare we just never get anything out of it. buying a house on a GED is right out. all boomers have done is outsource all of the means of wealth they got to have. and then treat us like shit in the press about how entitled we are for wanting to make enough to rent.

But they also have a small population, that isn't really growing, and INSANE Saudi level oil wealthA lot of people don't realize this, but the US spends more on socialized healthcare than most other nations (but limited to Medicare, Medicade and VA).I don't think socialized health care is good, but I also think the obscured insurance system in the US is really bad. I'm not even sure if cost transparency will really help at this point, mostly because over a third of western medicine doesn't even work, it's turned into a religion ... and I don't really trust doctors.

If you're under 30, you can get a holiday work visa to Australia, NZ, Ireland (if you just graduated or are in University) and a few others .. they're usually ~$300 .. you can get a job, try to get sponsored ... if I had stayed in NZ I would have been eligible to get citizenship by now ... their health care system isn't that great though
