Few days ago I've setup a non-federating video platform on https://u.fail for some fun and adorable content to create some smiles on faces.. 😺 I want to keep it ad-free and everyone can upload to 512M video's and 1GB for 'pro' (A little paid tier to pay for it all)No account needed to browse some vid's and suggestions are welcome :cat_hug_triangle:

@stux what I would love is an easy flow to upload and share vids on mastodon from Android.This currently sucks. Partly because format incompatibilities, mostly because instances impose 'arbitrary' limits (to keep hosting costs down, understandable).I'd love tusky or anything to upload vids elsewhere, embed the link, so I can share longer, heavier vids in my mastodon transparatly.Is that in scope? What would be needed?

@berkes Hmm that's a good idea!I have a feeling that should work with PeerTube 🤔 There was an Android app that worked with PeerTube and Masto at the same time I believe (im iOS so cant check :sadlinux: )

@stux so who is it for then? people who willingly just throw their data into the arms of giant corporations and don't care?even threatening ads is enough to be a turn off. you should know how awful that industry is.

@7666 If you simple just READ, the platform is AD FREE and like i said theres indeed a Pro feature to pay for it all :cat_hug_triangle: You dont need an account to watch videos also said in the post so no info needed Please, go troll somewhere else if you dont have anything to add
