@lamp I mean... Yes... But also no 😆No idea if that thing actually works, at least the idea seems to switch input to/from *either* A or B. Saw a Linus Tech Tips video on "Ethernet Splitters" this other day.

@bendik @lamp slight digression: In the old days, actual two port switches was a real and useful thing, but that was because switches were expensive and everything was connected with hubs or similar layer 1 tech, so when a single layer 1 net grew too large (collisions everywhere...) you could split it in two with a two-port switch....

@lamp @kly For some situations, switching at layer 1 could absolutely be beneficial. Comparable to physically moving a cable. I question the quality of the device @lamp shared though.
