@KleinerGruenerKaktus @Geri well, studies have shown that 70-ish%(?, iirc) of their participants experienced a tiny fear reaction when presented with the face of someone of a different skin colour than themselves, which was not present when presented with the face of someone of similar skin. Whether or not we consciously are aware of it, or acknowledge it, it's going on. You can't simply "not be racist". One has to accept this, and think critically of their own judgements, accordingly

It's not a thing that happens. "Gay bashing", on the other hand, is a very real, and well documented phenomenon. These groups are not comparable, in this sense.

Basically it means if you’re not fighting against racism, then you are tacitly allowing it, whether you hold those beliefs or not. By letting it happen, you’re effectively saying it’s all cool.
