Americans have been taught to hate #Russia and #Putin so much that they don't even think to consider if the challenger in this #coup will be better or worse for the people or #Ukraine. If Putin is the epitome of evil, anything else must be better, right? It's all just schadenfreude.

@wjmaggos I'm not concerned if he will be better or worse than Putin. I am only hoping for the maximum amount of damage to Russia being done. An impotent Russia is the best outcome.

@wjmaggos Prigozhin would be worse than Putin, without a doubt. However, bits of Russia - the places from which those soldiers are taken -are restless and regime change might provide the opportunity for escape from the federation.

@wjmaggosThis looks like a strawman argument. I am not following the US public debate closely enough to judge but I don't think everyone in their right mind would claim that Prigozhin would be any better than Putin. I am afraid that your suggestion that americans are all 'brainwashed' and taught to hate Russia is a typical silly contrarian move to look smart. If so, I have bad news: you don't. 🤷

@wjmaggos I think the general hope is that if Wagner and MOD are fighting it will make it easier for Ukraine to get rid of all of them. I don’t think that anyone is under any illusion that Prigozhin is a good guy.
