I saw The Flash last night and I have to admit it was way better than I expected. Not nearly as gritty and dark as other DC movies which is a positive. Much more fun. Interesting fight scenes. Some iffy CG in a few places but easy to ignore. Not nearly as goofy as other superhero movies yet enough humor that it's a fun ride. It's roughly 2.5 hours but it flew by!

@ashcrow Agreed, it was the most enjoyable DC movie for sure. The DC movies have largely lacked an emotional journey, which is why the Snyderverse never connected despite the uniformly excellent technical execution. Nolan understands this to his bones which is why his Batman trilogy stands the test of time -- and why, no matter how brain-twisting his other films get, they still have a way of connecting.
